Your equipment, plumbing, and electrical are like the engine to your car. It’s nice to get a fresh, new paint job (new interior surface), but pay attention to your car’s engine too or you may not get many miles from your newly spiffed-up car.

We pay attention because it’s important. For example, can your current pump keep your pool clean AND run that new water feature you’re excited about? Probably not. Similar questions come up with your plumbing and electrical as you add capacity and features to your pool. We’ll be sure to make you aware of all the realities that come with all the new “bells and whistles” of what’s available.

And, "If it ain't broke..." may also apply in your thinking. We like to check anyway, since fixing "small" problems during your remodel can avoid bigger problems in the future. And many times with older equipment, it's best to replace it. When it comes to pool equipment (see video below), they don't make 'em like they used to (thank goodness!).

Not adding anything new to stress the old equipment? Great, but you should still consider some of the new, greener pool equipment. Ask about our variable speed pumps, for example.
